The 26^th of June 2019 marked the Induction of Senior Prefects for the year 2019/20. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Ms. Sarah Hussain, a former Head Girl in the year 1999, as well as the proud parents of the prefects. The Principal commenced the event with a Welcome Address, in which she spoke highly of the numerous accomplishments Ilma has achieved over the past year. She also commended the previous Board of Prefects on a job well done.

The annual report for the Academic Year 2018/2019 was then delivered by the outgoing Head Girl, Maryam Mubeen. This was promptly followed by the badging of the new Board of Prefects, who took their oath under the guidance of Maryam Mubeen.

The Chairman of The Ilma Educational Foundation then took to the stage and congratulated the newly appointed  prefects for being chosen as the leaders of the student body. The Chairman placed further emphasis on the progress Ilma had made as an educational establishment and elaborated on the plans for its future. Ms. Sarah Hussain, on the other hand, imparted invaluable advice to the new Board, recollecting her own experience as the Head Girl of IIGS.

A vote of thanks was then delivered by the newly inducted Head Girl for the year 2019/2020, Fiza Hanif, drawing an end to the ceremony.
