“​Back to school”, read the poster at the main entrance. It was the 8th of July 2019, and the latest additions to Pre Grade had just entered the hall, along with their parents. Judging by the bright decor that lit up the area, with balloons of different colours to indicate each class, it was clear that the teachers had put in much effort to make the Junior Orientation of 2019 a success. 

The event began at 9 am with the Welcome Address rendered by the Principal, Madam Amina Zuhair. It continued with an eclectic blend of song and dance by the young performers of Year 2. Once the entertainment had drawn to a close, the teachers were introduced. Students were then escorted to their classrooms that were colourfully decorated. The little princesses were warmly welcomed to their classes with a tiara, after which, a first-day-in-school picture was taken. 

The smiling faces of the students leaving school after two hours was a clear indication that the day had been a memorable one and would be one to remember for life.
