It’s a pleasure to announce that our patron Mirzana Zahir and vice patron Abeeda Sulaiman are represented on the Board of IIGS. It is truly a remarkable progress over the past two decades due to the sheer determination and commitment of our old girls.

The IIOGA has expanded and achieved many feats in the past 22 years, Alhamdhulillah and we are proud to say we have reached almost 1500 members.

  • AGM/Reunion is organized annually for all OGA members

  • Presented the school with an air-conditioned hall making the school eligible to be a London Examination Centre

  • Donations made to the Maharagama Cancer Hospital and Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children

  • Donations for Tsunami victims and relief

  • Contributed financially towards the renovations of 8 washrooms on the ground floor

  • Purchased lobby chairs and 2 visitors chairs for principal’s office

We are looking at several other initiatives to improve our services towards our Alma Mater. We must constantly be aware of the truth and how we are all part of the larger society. In Sha Allah, together with all our past pupils, we aim to reach greater heights.
